Shaping the New Westmoreland, 2013 - 2015

This project was initiated by Westmoreland Museum of American Art's Director Judith O'Toole to permit me access to photograph all aspects of the rebuilding of the museum. The original structure was opened in 1959 and by the 2000's had outgrown the space and design. From initial planning meetings to the final landscaping details over two years later, I documented the massive project starting in 2013 and finishing in 2015. Aside from my business work, which had been digital capture for several years, this was the first all digital capture project I have pursued. The result was over 1400 digital files presented to the museum and an exhibition of thirty six 16"x20" prints opening on the first anniversary of the grand reopening. Additionally, the museum published a catalog book to commemorate the rebuilding, titled: Shaping the New Westmoreland.
